I think that the like 5 problems on Friction Slab are the exception to the rule.

Bouldering in the Red blows generally. There are a couple of good problems but they're scattered all over.
It's not worth bushwacking or hiking for 30 minutes to find one decent V3. Trade your pad for a set of quickdraws.
