This past weekend Muao Dib, Mia, chester, Canuck, and I attended the Warrior’s Way course. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Mia amazed us all by her bravery and Muao Dib by her strength. chester’s down to earth attitude was soothing and balancing while Canuck’s “wing” span made her inspiring to watch and her person delightful to be around. It was a wonderful group of women and I am thankful to each one for being there.

Arno is, in one word, wonderful. If anyone has ever considered taking this course I can testify that it was worth every penny and then some. No matter how experienced you think you are, there’s so much you can learn and take with you from this course; Climbing techniques, awareness, mind controlling techniques. Just do it. You will come back changed for the better and more enlightened from the experience. Personally, I can hardly find the words to express how much I’ve gained from this past weekend. But I can say that I climbed a route yesterday that was way out of my “comfort zone” and, not only was my fear controlled by using the tools Arno taught me but, most importantly, I had FUN climbing it! Instead of focusing on the danger and letting myself be engulfed by irrational thoughts of fear, I simply had fun. That, to me, is what climbing is all about. It feels so empowering to think that I may be able to climb routes that I used to look up at with awe, thinking I would never have the courage to get on. Now, I’m not afraid to fall on gear…climb above my pieces…commit.

Thanks again to everyone who was there, including Doyle and Suzie (Arno’s assistants and friends). It was by far one of the most inspirational weekends of my life.

I totally agree! It was worth every penny spent to take this course. Arno taught us we are stronger than we once thought, both mentally and physically. Learning to overcome our fear was a big part of that.
I think everyone who took the course this weekend had amazing performances over and beyond what they thought they could do. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has trouble with their climbing, either on toprope or leading.

That's awesome Artsay! I wish I oculd have been there but I ended up having the kids this weekend & there was a track meet & a baseball game they had to go to. Sounds like a wonderful time! I fully intend to take Arno's course in the very near future!!! Just wish I could have done it with all of you!

I have never been so sore in my life, but i also have never been so happy with myself in climbing as i am right now. i faced a climb that i had a tramatic experience on two years ago that stayed with me like it was yesterday. and even with all the wonderful things arno was teaching us i was still very unsure i could even tie into the rope until yesterday afternoon. however after crying and talking with arno and my fabulous friends who were all there for me 100% i walked up to the route and just faced head on. and for the first time in my climbing career i was focused and just climbed. I didn't even have to control my fears because i didn't allow them to join me; i was having too much fun by myself up there! so i want to thank arno, his assistants and my wonderful friends for being there for me and helping me find the strenght and confidence to overcome such a hurdle. and i also want to say congrats to each one of these lovely ladies because we all overcame our fears and negative thoughts and pushed ourselves with two hands out of the comfort zone into the risk and loved every minute of it! :D

Hell Yes! Way to go. I fully give Arno credit for me stepping out onto harder routes!
