weekday climbing in october

Post by Doxie »

I have some time off next month and am looking for some partners to climb on those less crowded weekdays in October. I am Chicago based.. but have a place to stay closer in Cincinnati/Covington..... Any climbers with a flexible schedule???

there will probably be lots of people living at miguels at that time of year so you could meet up with someone there. most of those people climb reasonably hard stuff (11+, mostly 12 & 13) so it might be hard finding a partner that'll be compatible with your skill level if you aren't climbing that hard. good luck

That dosen't mean shit. Most everyone whos down there will be more than happy to let someone tag along. 9 outta 10 times theres moderates near the "harder" stuff. Just ask around theres plenty of nice people as long and you dont regularly drop people or slam them into the wall.

I'm out!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

FINALLY!!! Im a student at the University of Kentucky living in Lexington and dont have class (or any other obligations) on tuesdays and thursdays. Ive searched high and low for a reliable partner who can get out as regularly as wed all like to. SO, if you're still interested in making it to the red during the week drop me a line; either on redriverclimbing or send me an email at bravo1341@hotmail.com.

I can get out on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays. I need a couple days notice so I can plan for it but otherwise I am free on those days until afte the first of the year.

I climb sport or trad in the 5.9-5.10 range at the moment but would be willing to tag along on some 5.11 sport and single pitch trad.
