Cord

Post by Snowpuppy »

Since Black Diamond has quit making "gemini" cord so you can sling your chocks and hexes-does any other manufacturer make something close to it-about the same make up and stiffness in a 5.5mm?

Bluewater makes titan cord. I think it's damn near the same thing.

bluewaterropes.com and search for titan.

Maxim makes tech cord. The stuff is rather amazing. 5mm and it holds 5,000lbs.

I really didn't like the Maximum Tech Cord, it's really stiff unless they changed in the last two years. I've also heard things about the strength of the cord going down drastically after time and use.

I think they recommend you don't tie and untie the knots on that stuff repeatedly
