neuroshock, it was great meeting you and all the kids from Chicago at the comp. hope your sunday was a great climb day and the drive back fine.

wes, good luck with your new/continuing endeavour. is there any place you can "register" with a ky tourist list or other business source/personal source so people could hire you out? maybe one affilliated with the RRG or are you going to start to post flyers? :)

Wes that's awesome! I have a pic of Matt that you were gracious enough to send me. It's a great way for you to recoup on your artistic vision and for those of us to get copies of our "ego shots" Can't wait to get one of me. Hmm. Perhaps a X-mas card for the family...

Thanks for the support. I added photos the a RRG climbing gallery of a few of you all.

Mike, added one other one of you on that same problem. Maybe try to get some better ones next time.

Thanks for the kindness, and while I don't think I will be quiting my (sorta) day job, every little bit helps.

Good shots Wes.

What kind of gear are you hauling up the cliffs for those shots? Between my day job and this ( http://www.pottingerphoto.com ) I just haven't made time to go climbing for over a year! Everyone told me getting married would do it

I love smugmug now, its a great site.

Thanks much, you have some great stuff as well.

Using a 20D with a tamron 28-75 2.8 and a canon 70-200 2.8 L.

Put up some of the comp photos.

Thanks for the complement.

How do you like the tamron? I am looking for a faster shorter lens, something like the tamron or nikons 17-55 2.8. I shoot with a couple of D70s, and also shoot with a 70-200 2.8 (nikons version). Its without a doubt, my favorite lens.

Tamron is very, very good. Chester uses one on her Nikon.

Okay, I'm now the marketing director for Wes. Just kidding. Seriously though, if you have relatives who live far away who are constantly harassing you about putting pics of you on a site so they can order them, Wes' site is a great deal! I e-mailed the site to my brother and sister-in-law. I'm sure my lil yuppy relatives will order prints. My Aunt and Uncle in Montana are next on the list.... I'm trying to help put Wes' kids through college 8)
