Ultra, I changed your password for you. If you can guess it, I guess you can get back onto your account. You know as well as I do that Rick shared information with you that is not for general consumption (I know because he told me, I do not have access to your PM's).

This shit is getting old. There was talk of banning you again... I hate banning, but is that what you want?? Please stop stirring up shit. Please?

Tim,
I changed my mind. Could I have the route back?

Regarding the decision to rename the route at the sanctuary from "I shot the sheriff" to "Saint Gregory's Lament;" The decision to change the name is compeletly up to Rick and that decision must be respected. However, the name change was said to be done in order stop any controversy that has aroused from this discussion. I do not understand how taking a jab at Greg that will be printed in all future guidebooks for everyone to see stops any controversy. Everyone has their own personal views on this subject but if Rick really wanted to stifle the drama he would have chosen a neutral name that does not have anything to do with either side. The name should be changed...i suggest... "Muir is a crazy f***ing soap opera and everyone needs to chill the f*** out"

Part of the cast? True, but I'm done trying to stand up for my friends and something I believe in. From now on I'm going to limit my posts on this site unless it is something climbing related and important. I've already wasted enough of my time on here responding to all of the animosity and negativity by trying to defend my friends and something I believe in. Bye.

of trying is I feel more guilty.

This forum was setup to accommodate many different types of users. We moderate pretty heavily to limit the drama to only a certain number of forums and any user has the power to view what forums they want or don't want to view. This general statement is completely untrue. This website provides a lot of helpful information and avenues for communication.

To say "this whole website is" [fill in the blank with negative comment] is like being mad at the TV because you didn't like one show. With almost 2000 users, this "whole website" is not a whole at all but a culmination of many individual entities and opinions.

And finally, I always find it funny how so many people "quit the board" but then lurk in hidden mode more often than when they were posting. Why not just limit your viewing and posting to those forums that don't get you heated? Anywhere in life you have people debating against ideals you believe in. How is this board so much different?

Maybe we should just ban all those folks that say "bye"? I mean, if they're turning us off then we can turn them off, right? Jared, I think you're great and I'm not targeting you, I swear....I'm just finding humor in the trend around here to say "goodbye" to this place. Some of my good friends have "quit the board" and then eventually have come back. I guess I just don't understand why anyone has to say "goodbye" instead of simply turning off certain forums like a program you don't want to watch.
