And democrats are the caring ones...Bush, damn him, is so GD callous Your cynicism towards Bush is as hilarious as republicans was towards Clinton...you guys just try to see the worst in people.

It's possible both Bush, the two black women, and the white guy that high fived Bush were all faking it. The only thing Bush & Co. are good at is creating photo-ops... and making the wealthy wealthier. I bet if it were Clinton you'd be saying it was fake.

The hypocrisy of the right never ceases to amaze me. "You should respect the President," they shout even though they would've pissed on Clinton in a heartbeat.

Are you kidding Alan?
If Clinton were President, he wouldn't be faking all the "hugs". There is no way, and I don't believe it.

Yeah. Class is a figment of our collective conversations. By simply talking about it, we actually produce inequality.

If Clinton were President he would've been down there with an axe, cutting people out of their attics instead of adding to his year+ vacation time in office... at least that's what I like to think. If I were President that's sure the fuck what I'd be doing.

I wonder what kind of a cocksucker it takes to think making the unimagineably wealthy wealthier is good for the 99.95% of us that aren't ultra-wealthy. Oh, wait. I'm "labelling" people. As has been shown, labelling creates the condition the label points to. Poor blacks wouldn't exist if we didn't call them that. Ultra-wealthy white males wouldn't exist if we didn't call them that.

yawn...actually, Clinton would be getting a blowjob from Monica while the storm raged in new Orleans, don't ya think? I mean, he was all business and everything, ya know. And by god, we know Democrats aren't wealthy SOB's either..... if all you liberal diehards are so worried about equity amongst the masses, I challenge you to redistibute your personal wealth in your neighborhood. Got start somewhere, you chuffers. I mean, geesh, poverty virtually disappeared the 8 years Clinton held office. (Damn forgot again, it was that Republican Congress that stopped him. Plus, don't i recall Hillary getting rich off of some options contracts sometime back..how dare she work the capitalist system to her advantage, and take money from the poor.)

I ain't wealthy, but I don't begrudge those with money. Money doesn't make the person, rich or poor. I refuse to get stuck in the victim mentality just because I am in the lower middle income bracket.

Photo ops my ass.....the left wingers love this opportunity to parade off their poor black constituents. Don't think for a second in some dark alley both sides weren't gathering to use this tragedy as a way to make political gains....

Alan, yes, I would have called Clinton a fake in the same situation. Bush has done a shitty job handling this. I doubt Clinton would have done better, given the disarray of FEMA. Don't kid yourself. Bush is in the mold of big spending, big gov't democrats. He is a very shallow excuse for a fiscal conservative.

We need to find ways to trap CO2. CO2 is the main problem behind global warming which in turn warms the oceans, land, etc. In turn, causing big natural disasters. Trees "breathe in" and store carbon dioxide (CO2), a major greenhouse gas, from the atmosphere as they grow. In one year, a mature tree absorbs as much CO2 as a car produces, driving 30,000 miles. Healthy, growing trees do not solve the source of the greenhouse gas/smog problem, but they can reduce its terrible impact on our air quality and health. These living “carbon sinks” ease the effects of climate change.

but to think those trees had enough CO2 to 'breath' long before we ever had cars...and now there are way less trees....
