Think it'll rain?

Post by Namaste »

I'm headed out for the red at 1:00 from Richmond, and it was just barley pissing a little bit of rain this morning...does anyone know the forecast today in the red?

I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Al Hospers (neclimbs.com) has a webcam that points at Cathedral Ledge. I think it's a GREAT idea

yea we have a few of those in the northwest. without them you could never know if the cliffs were dry. I have driven through 5 seperate rain showers on the way to the crag which was completely dry out here. of course I have also gone aid climbing in the rain when the crag wasn't....

If you are really bored or just like this stuff the Colorado Highway department has cams set up all over the state. The ones of I-70 especially around Eisenhower Tunnel are interesting for a few minutes. I don't think they are realtime video but are still shots every few seconds.
A silly part of me wants to stand out there some day and have people back here watching and do something with signs or something
like: "hi mom, were #1".
