Thanks, Ultra. I appreciate your words of wisdom. Indeed, I just cannot contain my self and spew uselessly on this forum. I'll try to control my impulses from now on. You're entitled to your opinion, so you go on and use derogatory language whenever/however you see fit. I'd suggest that society ultimately chooses/determines what language is appropriate and what isn't - and it is an evolutionary process. I can refer you to some interesting reading on the topic if you'd like. A good example of "accepted" language/derogatory useage of langauge is the evolution of the language used by persons in power to describe/discuss minorities in the US... but there I go again, not thinking before I speak...

Again, you're entitled to your opinion, so you go on using your derogatory language. I'll still call you out on it if i'm given an opportunity to do so. Just ask Spragwa about my feeble attempts to make the masses stop calling things/people "retarded" - and we're still friends.

Damn me for being serious, sorry, back to a thread about chopping down trees, drilling holes into rock and all that jazz...

hey... here's something a little different:
I have been in the Deaf Cummunity for several years - for obvious reasons.
Well, don't try to call a Deaf a hard-of-hearing individual. That's like a freekin' insult. When a Deaf Person is deaf, we simply say: the Deaf.

So, meanwhile, the government will impose what to say... and the people will hate it. Please note that I am speaking for the Deaf, and that may not necessarily be true for the rest...

Also... I am not a very tall person... and personally, I would hate it it someone would say: Look at the height deficit guy over there... LOL
