Dead Batteries

I hate rechargeable batteries. I gotta juggle three of them everyday at work only to be bothered by them on my weekend. I'm blaming dead batteries for not getting my gay little bouldering wall finished yesterday. I'm gonna buy a corded drill.

I bitch too. Just wish I could invent that better battery......The ones today have a life then they tend to discharge faster until they dont hold a charge at all. Leaving them out in the cold speeds this all up,so bring that stuff in the warm every night in winter.

I had that problem then bought a cordless bosch. it rules and it recharges fully in an hour. it came with rwo batteries and cost me about 100 bucks. nice little frill. am using it on my wall's current make-over. don't bitch, bosch instead.

Three years from now you'll be bitching that they wont hold a charge. Thats what I'm talking about. Battery life.

If you want the best screwgun out there, buy a Panasonic. They have the best battery, they're lighter and more powerful. I've got a DeWalt 18v set and I'm pretty sick of it. It's not even a year old and I've got to buy new batteries (at $100ea). Of course I probably use my tools more in a week than most people do in their lifetime but still, the batteries should last more than a year.

Yeah, I'm hearing good things about the Panasonic tools also. Most companies are tool experts who had to get into the battery business because everyone wants cordless tools. Panasonic is a battery company that slapped tools on to their batteries to sell them. Drills have been around for a long time, so Panasonic has 'caught up' pretty quickly - their edge is the batteries.

So far my Milwaukee 18v drill/batteries are doing well - but I've had them less than a year...

I believe the team suck drill is a panasonic. Works well, but you have to drain the batteries all the way at the end of the day. There is also a place in Lexington the can rehab old batteries. Not sure where that is though. Sunshine knows.

The place is Batteries Plus. You should always completely discharge Ni-Cd batteries. If you don't they develop alzheimer's.
