Woof

Post by Artsay »

Someone in Lexington has to get rid of her husky/malimute mix...an 8 yr old, extremely beautiful, well mannered, and very sweet. His name is Buddy and he is very docile. He's a big dog and the owner wants him to go to a good home where he'll get lots of attention and love. Apparently life has dealt her a hand that doesn't include room for her big buddy and it's killing her.

If you all know of anyone interested or are interested yourself, please send me a note.

Dogs are what make life fun.

That is very sad that she has to let her Buddy go! My heart goes out to her
Just genuinely disengenuous.

God I'd love to take him but no fenced in yard and no time to mediate between he and Dakota. Demon-Devil Dog would drive him wild.

I'll take him. I have a big fat husky right now that I'm trying to replace. She doesn't move. It's kind of like having a fish.

Is this dog housebroken? Will he stay in the yard and not jump over a 4ft fence? Does he chew and will he drink out of the toilet? How well does he get along with other dogs? Can he fit in the back of my car? Is he as big as BO? Would he stick close by if he wasn't on a leash? Would it be possible for foster care (with possibly weekend visitation if she's a climber) until this gal can get back on her feet?

I'll ask her. I think he's probably as big as Bo but he's old so I bet he's way mellow and easy to handle despite his large size.
