Hey all. I had a cabin over the weekend in Peaceful Valley. Cabin butted up to a great looking wall with three bolted routes. Owner said as long as you were renting feel free to climb all you want. Anyone familiar with the routes or area?
Thanks

Re: Gear
Really appreciate all of the feedback. Definitely hope to climb higher and harder grades. Just setting my sights on some early gains and confidence building climbs. This forum has already provided some great feedback and good connections. Glad to be here.
Re: Gear
Agree a guide will be helpful/essential. Trying to put together a list of things to shop for as well.
Thanks everyone.

Re: Gear
Thanks. My partner and I seem to have all of that covered. Still working on the necessary knowledge piece. Spent a good part of the night hanging on a wall working on the steps for cleaning. I have a grigri but felt I should get an ATC/Rappel device as well and the knowledge to use it.
Gear
What do you all recommend a new sport climber have in their gear set up? Looking to climb in the 40 - 50 ft range 5.7/5.8.
Thoughts?
