A friend and I are renting a car and have room for 2 more passengers.

We all spilt travel (gasoline and toll) expenses

Thanks Asc, I'm planning a trip may 2015, can't go during autumn, because I'm still studying. Mark - I kinda agree, but when its too hot - conditions really suck. And I want to send some routes while I'm there, so I gotta cope with the crowds. If I'm lucky, the crowds are less when the routes pass 5...

So, if I rented a car for my stay - which I'm going to - the cheapest would be renting it from either Louisville or Cincinnati and drive to RRG.

What about early in the morning, is the climbing conditions better in the hot season?

For example on Kalmynos, in the summer season, its possible to get descent conditions early in the morning.
