Free Trail Race in RRG, April 26
I'm organizing a free trail race in the Red on April 26th, 9am. It is a 5 mile route in the Tunnel Ridge road region. If you're into that kind of thing, get more info here: http://4goodtrailrace.blogspot.com/ While the race is free, I encourage you to donate $20 or $30 to these folks http://rrgcc.or...

Re: Storage units near The Red
I am acquainted to the guy who owns Safe Storage in Nicholasville and Lexington KY. http://www.safestorage.com/
I've rented a unit from him in the past. All units are kept behind a locked gate, and have a lock on the door. I recommend it.

Redpoint,
As far as I know, you can register on Mountain Project and will then be able to add areas and routes. If you want to start over and/or use the info I already put up, go for it.

Redpoint, After seeing some of the boulders in the Knobs,as well as one of your videos online, I put the area up on mountain project a good while ago. If you'd like, I'd be happy to hand the page over to you so you can update it as much as you like. http://www.mountainproject.com/v/knobs-forest-knob...

Re: New Main Trail at Muir Valley

Re: Looking for partner for Sat Nov 23rd
Hello European Brother, I have gotten lost in Kentucky's valleys before, but by now I am a fairly good navigator. I'd like to meet up and climb. I lead 5.8 trad, 5.9-10 Sport, and will be happy to belay you on some harder stuff so you can experience the best the Red has to offer. I have ropes and a ...

Selling New Evolv Demortos , sz 7.5
My wife tried them on once, were a little too tight. For reference, they are very close to the same size as LaSportiva Tarantula size 6.5. I can meet in Lexington or nearby if you'd like to try them on. New they are selling for $60-$95, my asking price is $40. Reviews and photos found here: http://w...

Re: MV anchor cleaning accident
I will not attempt to answer any, only highlight some of the issues raised… 1. What, if any is/are the climbing partner(s)/belayer’s duty/involvement to assist the rappelling climber? Eyes on the ground? None? 2. What should/can experienced climbers offer less experienced climbers in their vicinity...
