Re: Climbing in the Red with a Lumbrical Strain

R-Power, I asked for internet doctors, not psychiatrists! :-) Anyways, the Doc gave me the go ahead to climb this spring. I was fully planning on resting, but it sounds like with the lumbricals if you climb with attention to holds and how you grab them you can do OK. He recommended staying out West ...

Cool guys, I appreciate the advice... even if I have no idea what some of it means. tbwilsonky, did you find anything that helped mitigate the discomfort, or any exercises that strengthened thing well?

The good news with this injury is that I can in theory continue to climb. The bad news is that separating the ring finger and pinky ...

Re: partner for mid March-April

Hey, So bad news... I tore a tendon in my finger yesterday, so will probably be not climbing much for a while :-(. I may try to climb a little bit in the next few days, but I am not too optimistic I will be able to climb. That being said, Miguel's is packed with college kids so if I can't climb you ...

Re: partner for mid March-April

Hey, I would have been out climbing weeks ago if work did not get in the way. I've got a few months off from work and school, so figured I would get some traveling and climbing in while I still can. Traveling solo really limits the options of where to go to find reliable partners, and it sounds like...

Re: partner for mid March-April

Twan: Yeah, that would be great. I won't be there this weekend, but let's get in touch in a few weeks to climb the next weekend you will be there. What is your project called? Willy: Good idea! Unless I get there and can easily find people at Land of Arches that seems like a good way to find partner...

partner for mid March-April

Hello, I will be coming to the Red around March 15 and will be staying through April. I am traveling solo so will be in need of partners. From what I have heard it should not be hard to find partners once I arrive, but it would be nice peace of mind to have a few things lined up before actually maki...
