Re: Family climb time Oct 26-29?

I am looking to get out with my wife and 3 year old son this coming weekend. It's more of a camping/hiking trip but would love to get a few routes in. Let me know if these dates would work for you and maybe we can make something work. My wife can climb up to 5.9 and I can lead up to 10s. Prefer trad...

Anyone willing to put up with a toddler?

I will be on a camping trip with my wife and son Saturday and Sunday 4/11-4/12 if anyone is looking for a novice trad partner. I have all gear and can lead up to 5.9 trad. I have pretty good knowledge of the northern area and am just looking for someone who's easy going and doesn't mind kids. If you...

Muir is great! I highly suggested spending all your time there. I would never go to the Northern region it's all choss, PMRP would also be a good place for you.

Re: Slimy Creatures Beta

Yes it was a fun route. I think next time we will be checking out Crack Attack, wish there were some pictures of curiosity, by the comments on the guidebook i didn't think it looked like it was worth the trouble for 50ft.

Re: Slimy Creatures Beta

I cant be sure, we used a 70, but sure seemed like we had about 20-30 feet left over. But I would not trust that small lower tree for any kind of anchor.

Rainy day recommendations

Any one have any rainy day recommendations for climbing 5.7-5.9 trad. I was looking at Long Wall and Autumn, but Autumn is really the only thing that interests me there.
