Re: PSA: The Crust is Coming Off

I'd suggest an old fashion stakeout. Grab a few burly sport climbers to hide in the bushes, wait for said suspect to come snooping around cars, snap a few pictures, call the police/tell the thief to piss off, and nip this problem in the butt secret agent style.

Re: ROADSIDE IS NOT OPEN - IT IS CLOSED

Someone may want to put a sign up at Miguel's and at the crag about it being closed. It would seem a lot of people are still under the impression it is open because the closed sign is gone.

Re: Great hike, easy top rope or established sport

If she's never been climbing, take her to the auxier ridge trail. There's a 4th class scramble to the top where you can easily set up a tr and there's plenty of other stuff out there to play around on.

Re: Fortress

Parking is fine. All the routes except for a few of the ledge routes were dry a few days ago. Bring something to tighten down the anchors on bedtime for bonzo if you're not into the whole spinning anchor thing.

Re: AF traveling conservation team visit, trail day

Any chance we could start up a carpooling list? I'd love to help out, but I'm not a fan of driving my 17 year old car on a road called Hell Creek.

Re: Camping - Miguel's? Lago Linda? Elsewhere?

I'm a huge fan of Lago Linda's. I camp there for any extended stay. 5 bucks a night for really nice facilities, good camping spots, wifi, and quiet. The location is a bit out of the way, but I've never found it to be too big of an issue.

Re: KY Ice

Would anyone want to show a dirtbag like me to some sick ice like this? I just got back from the Michigan Icefest and I am itching to sink my tools into some ice again. I will reward you with beer and fudge from the Slade shell station. With the precipitation we've got in the forecast and the cold t...
