Re: Volunteers Needed for Muir
Nobody likes that McShane -- He's bad news (just kidding -- he has graciously caught me on many climbs at Muir).
Thanksgiving weekend is a pretty rough time schedule-wise. If there's a second weekend to assist please post details

Cinch pros: ----------------- Easy to pay out slack safely. The way it clamps down when it catches a fall is what made me really enjoy the thing. It'll even en...

Re: Weather at Red River Gorge in December
http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/fitness/wxclimatology/daily/USKY1339?climoMonth=12 should be useful. Shows the average high and low for december, etc. a high of 45 isn't bad when it's sunny. Just bring something for extra warmth (you can't build campfires next to routes here). I'm thinking a ...

Re: Muir Valley Request
I was thinking that today when I left the parking lot. If each person pitched in 5$ (everybody has 5$, c'mon) it'd raise a bunch of money.
I'd put up a giant sign that says "5$ donation suggested per person. Help keep this open!".
