While there we were looking around and saw several maps, as I was looking over one of the maps, it had littl...

Only thing I have which would be close to "pictures" is is Memorial Day when we were there he did a "you could do it this way" and climbed a little section with arms only, basically the pull over at the lip. Then he climbed back and said, "but you'll probably want to do it t...

I've seen him do it in: hiking boots barefoot one bare foot/one in a hiking boot while opening a beer on the route and drinking it on the route hands only from the lip on up wh...

Kentucky Ginger Ale....

Why does everyone call it "Ale-8" when it's really "Ale-8-One" (a play on "A Late One")?

Hmmmm, if I'd have known I would have looked. I got there and there was a couple on Blue Plate Special, so we went over to that damned evil chimney instead.

I just took my '99 Honda Civic to the parking area for 'The Arena' this past weekend. You can do it, it's just not guaranteed to be pretty. If you see a muddy patch in the road, just give it some gas and plow through it. I do think I dented in my gas tank though. Oh, I also think I tore a CV joint s...

GPS....

I've sort of wondered about that... And am a little surprised that no one has posted GPS coordinates of each route... Not that I'm condoning it, just pleasantly surprised.

The entrance to Bald Rock Road is gravel, but changes to "slightly paved" about 500 feet in. Some mention of the oil company equipment might be helpful.... like "...after the two oil tanks on the right hand side of the road"... and ..."If you've see a gutted building and oil...
