I've climbed in the gorge the past two years in March. Last year I was there mid month and thought it was great. We followed the sun and stayed very warm - ocassionally down to a tank top! Lost a great shell - sentimental!!

Lost during Thanksgiving week - Mountain Hardwear Ladies Med Black Gortex Xenon shell (hooded). Could possibly have been at Fantasia, Roadside, Military or perhaps at Miguels. We just realized it was gone! This coat has quite a history and we will be greatful to anyone who may find this sweet jacket...

Swap Meet is a 5.6 and is where I and my kids got our feet wet when moving from indoors. there are other routes at the location so you can slide over to more challenging stuff too.

every first timer has to visit miguels. it is an experience you have to partake in to EVER say you are a climber. That being said, we spend time there but camp at Koomer and Natural Bridge primitive sites ( i should disclose that I am not part of the "under 30" set). I do like to sleep at ...
