Hey is the road to Dip Wall still closed? I tried to get up there in July and shit was WHACK.

I know that this is a total n00b question, but my gear got wet and now my cams won't cam. Is WD40 a safe bet for re-lubricating them? (hehe)

5 minutes after I dropped down (in a near panic) lightning struck about 50 feet away from us (we were then hiding under a rock shelter near American Crack). I wonder how things would have been different if I was still up there with my BD stoppers slung around my shoulder...

While attempting to flee Wednesday's epic storm I accidentally left 2 biners and a sling on top of American Crack at Fortress wall. If you find 'em, please enjoy their company and make sure you tell them "Daddy loves you very much."

Bring up the second to the hanging belay and finish the job. For the record I didn't fuse the #2. Though a hanging belay on that crack will impress the gumbi...
