That's really cool! It's good to hear that there are people who will not only pick up lost stuff, but come and try to find the owner as well.

By the way, what is the standard protocol for returning things to their owners? Should they be dropped off at Miguels?

True North Inn is a great place to stay in not so nice weather. The restaurant there has excellent food, and a really affordable breakfast for guests. Miguel's can get wet after heavy rains, but it's the best place to connect with other climbers. Lago Linda is close to the PMRP and has tent shelters...

There was a span of about 12 years between my discovery of sport climbing and my last free solo of Sallee Hall on the campus of Western Illinois University. It took about a month to get back the finger strength, but after two years, I still won't climb more than 15 feet without protection.
