Bowlines are great, no doubt. However, they can untie themselves if weighted and unweighted numerous times. The yosemite finish can help prevent this... or you could just tie an eight. I learned though the AMGA that a "colorado" finnish on an eight can make it a little easier to untie afte...

I'll be in the area looking to climb from the 26th to the 3rd. The temps may be a bit chilly as it looks now... we'll see though. I have a couple friends potentially coming down that weekend, otherwise I'll be climbing alone as my partner bailed.
