Re: The cove bouldering
Ya I saw them in indiana too. We picked the coldest spot to boulder at but it was epic. We built a landing out of wood, cleaned some holds, and established a beautiful dyno problem, so it was worth it.

Re: If you left your draw on the first bolt of the Suffering
Petzl also had an example pic of how if you clip a quickdraw upside down and take a swinging lead fall, you are way more likely to nose hook the biner (because the rubber insert being on the wrong side causes the caribiner to rotate where the nose is) and have it break on you.

Re: I forgot my stickclip at The Shire
Well at least I did the 10a direct start to it :p So I got one nice heel hook in for the day. I never did hear anything about my precious stickclip though. This time around I'm getting a Superclip, I swear I cracked the Squid the first second I got it. It has a design flaw where if you over-tighten ...

Re: Is everyone getting ready for fall?
Brentucky, I took your advice and I'm on a strictly junk food diet only. I think it has significantly helped me to already be back at Rocksport sending the 12s. Today I had a frosted donut (with sprinkles!!!) for breakfast, a cinnamon pretzel at the mall for lunch, and for dinner I had popcorn drenc...

Is everyone getting ready for fall?
Is everyone getting ready for fall? I sure am, been training smart. I did a ton of leg lift exercises yesterday and I think I overexerted myself;I went from a cold to bronchitis. O and I practically threw my back out. Of course my diet is on point; I had a Lean Cuisine and cake for lunch, the same c...

Re: Gumby Twinkie
Well I tried to do some climbing and my shoulder was jacked the next day, but at least I have this to show for it: I'm trying to incorporate skating and climbing, so in this photo I aimed to climb a skateboard and skate a mountain: http://i58.tinypic.com/f0w0o2.jpg . I don't have a wide angle lens a...

Re: Gumby Twinkie
Hey guys, well everything was going great, I was climbing the 12s at Rocksport and sent every boulder problem except for the two pinks. I think I even came close to onsighting a 12A at the Red (Magnum Opus), but I'm a wuss when it comes to warming up, and onsighting Air Ride proved to be a pretty ba...
