flimsy draws

cool the reason i asked was bc my current draws are the DMM prowires: in case you haven't seen one they are crazy small, with an even crazier narrow ass peice of sling (dynema?) joining the 2 biners. This makes them light ass hell but there is a critical design flaw. The thin sling is flimsy and can...

yes but what about the top biner why does it need to be able to move around, shouldnt that also be held in place firmly... to prevent cross loading???

QUICKDRAWS!?!

Why is it that all quickdraw slings have a defined orientation? That is, how come the top of the draw is loose (allows motion and movement) while the bottom of the draw is tight (the biner is held steadily in place)? I've asked tons of ppl this question but i've yet to hear a satisfactory answer. An...
