Hand Specialist in Nashville?

Can anyone recommend a hand specialist in Nashville? I messed up a pulley (or two?) last weekend. It was great, sounded just like a twig crunching inside my finger. Now that the swelling has gone down, it's obvious that there's some bowstringing in my injured finger. So, I decided I just need to she...

Spring Break cabin rental?

I was thinking of renting a cabin for my girlfriend and myself for a few nights in mid-March 2011. Of course I first went to the Red River Outdoors website, but it seems that their season is only April through November. I was hoping to find something comparable to their "cozy A-frames": fu...

Re: 2010 Season

Climbing-wise, my year started out looking like an 8 and ended up being more of a 3. I did learn a valuable lesson: Never pull hard in the gym (except maybe working on the hangboard). Why? Because if you strain a tendon on some stupid boulder problem and have to sit out the entire fall climbing seas...

Thanks for all the work you've put into the guide! At first, I was a little skeptical of the new version, but it has quickly grown on me. Not that you don't have enough to work on, but I figured I'd go ahead and throw my only suggestion out there: It would be amazing if the guide could show you your...

My rules have always been that a send is climbing the entire route without weighting the rope, whether you're on lead or toprope. I don't know how the points in the guidebook work, but I don't think it would be totally fair for TR sends to be worth as much as redpoints.

Reading this kind of thread is like watching a car wreck... You know it's not going to be pretty, but you just can't look away.

The only gym I've been to there is MetroRock, but I was very impressed with it. In fact, it's probably the nicest gym I've ever been to. Top-out bouldering, small crowds, and free shuttle pick-up from the T station.

That is my dream car! Except in my dream I actually have some of that substance that is commonly exchanged for goods and services... What do they call that?

Rocky Mountain Highball - bouldering film

I've read and heard about a bouldering film that was supposedly finished almost a year ago, Rocky Mountain Highball, and it seemed pretty awesome. However, I haven't had any luck finding somewhere to buy it. Anybody know anything about it?
