Cutter Advanced Sport

Try "Cutter Advanced Sport" bug repellant instead of Deet. Works dam good without any of the probs.

If you really want Deet then 3M Ultrathon is supposed to be good. It's micro-encapsulated to lessen the hazards.

The ticks love to hang out on tall grass in low areas.

Koomer Ridge sounds perfect. Get there earlier Friday to snag one of the secluded sites. The 'manager' will gladly take care of any all-night parties. Pretty much the same area and details as the large Forest Service map..but on your GPS. :wink:
