Muir Valley on a Monday

I know weekends there can be very busy but what should I expect on a Monday? Will the 'easy' walls be more open on a Monday?

I've have climbed for about 5 years and while not being 'elite' by the RRG standards I'm not a complete slacker. So yes, in my opinion I am capable of taking a group to climb, plus I will have at least 1 other climber with me. It's been about 2 years since I've been out because I got to a point wher...

Beginner Group

Some time in the coming weeks I'm going to be taking a group of my coworkers climbing and I'd like to both be as considerate as I can to my fellow climbers and give my coworkers a good experience. The total group will be about 10 people I think, this includes myself and a couple other climbers. Wher...

If it were as simple as $300/year I would think a lot of people would do it. I know both me and my wife would right a check today. The idea that everyone that likes to climb can get to the Red annoys the $hit out of me. I work a full-time job and have a wife and 2 daughters under 5, I would love to ...

Equipment and Rope

I haven't been out climbing in going on 2 years and all of my equipment has just sat in my garage in my backpack the entire time, should I be concerned about the condition of any of it if I get back out this year?

Photo Hosting

Can anyone recommend a good site for photo hosting? I would really like something that will let other people actually download my photos instead of having to buy prints.

Thanks.

If the weather is below about 45 I just can't wear shorts, that's too cold. I normally just go with warm up pants, a long sleeve shirt, and gloves. For really cold runs (my personal low is 14 degrees) I typically go with a tobogan, gloves, and 2 thin layers all over.
