Environmental is super sweet. From what I remember, it's mostly #.75 camalot size. Also takes a bunch of #1 camalots and a few #2 camalots. I remember plugging in at least two big stoppers. Arrowhead takes lots of bitty gear. If you took a double set of BD camalots from #.3 to #3 you'd have plenty. ...

Fortress Wall: Attack of the Killer Bees

Ok, so I don't think they are killer bees (Greg was stung and is still alive) but there is a HUGE swarm of bees at Fortress wall, just before you turn the corner to get to Bedtime for Bonzo. Terry,
Sorry you had to check out so soon. You are missed. Thanks for teaching me the art of "rock science (not rockET science)," and setting me straight when I needed to be. Hope you've found peace on the other side.

I've had both BD cams and Wild Country cams for about 10 years now. I've had to replace the trigger wires on a few BD cams at 4 or 5 times but the triggers on my WC's are still going strong.

What's the turnaround time with Yates (door-to-door)? I need to send off all my old mank to get reslung but I don't want to lose half of my rack for a month.

It was spelled 'Reaux Shampeaux' back in Porter Jarrard's 1997 Selected Climb's Guide for some reason.

Good question Kirker, I was kind of curious as to how the Gi-Gi works as well. It looks like it functions in autoblock mode in much the same way as the Reverso. I found this on Kong's website:

Multi-pitch Belay Device

What do y'all use for belaying from the top on multi-pitch routes? I've been using a reverso for a few years because the autoblock mode is sweet. Anyone try the new ATC Guide? How about the Trango B-52?
