With the new spam image stuff, you can't post to the crag page. I was going to post the following to the Military main page (the graphic isn't quite right number-wise anymore) and it errored me out. "numbers on the graphic are incorrect. 1a is really 1, 1 is really 2, 2 is really 3, etc etc. an...

After biking for years with a helmet it occurred to me that climbing has way more injury potential...now I wear my helmet almost all the time at any crag (as an added bonus it is sun protection on my bald head). Key that it fits though...the Camp silver star I was constantly pushing back into positi...

Mike...your explanation seems somewhat likely. Although when we were there, there were two lockers on the anchor chain of Creepshow. FYI the draws were those of Dr Karl, there's a thread around someplace talking about the reason for leaving them on the route. Generally they were in good shape to me ...

Whats up with the note below Count Floyd Show?

Monday 23Nov there was a note below Count Floyd, something along the lines of "Bring your own anchors, these are crap"

Any insight here?

We ran out of time before going up to see what the note was about.

As a ps...there are a couple of project draws on Twinkie which are pretty shot.

It has been a long long time since being on mailbox, but I don't think you could get to the top of yuk from it. You might be able to tr some of the lower section...but your better option would probably be to get to the top somehow and locate that tree at the top of yuk.

In case you were wondering about the recommendations from petzl...see the pics at the bottom (its all stupid flash so you can't post direct links). Basically holes=retirement.

Cheaper to replace the gri-gri than the alternative.

Can't say I've had experience removing a virus...however, I cannot recommend Norton (an upgrade caused major headaches for me a while back). Save your $ and go with something different (I use AVG these days).

Lead class indoors, Anchors class (AMGA) outdoors, Experienced friends (hard to teach how to belay eg. more rope to swing below an overhang instead of smack-into it), books (Long's), reading mags & online (tips, incident reports, etc.)
