Sigh.. All I can say is that it looked really cool. Rain and shreaded hands kept us from climbing there that day but we wanted to scope the area out. I've had good luck with the Bluewater rope marking pen. It seems to fade a little after a while but I just remark it and have had no problem finding the midpoint.

blade runner

I heard blade runner was in the closed section of military wall, but when I went there and looked it seems to be right on the edge of the closed off area. Would it be kosher if I climbed up Danita Dolores and swung over or boulder-traveresed over to the lower section of the route, starting outside t...

Could you take a bike along? I've taken bikes on greyhounds and amtrak w/o any problems. This would extend your dirtbaging distances by quite a bit. What about chatty? there's a whole lot of climbing all around there. You could ride to Twall and signal mnt., catch rides to foster falls, etc. Seems t...

Track down a copy of the Ortenburger and Jackson guide book. It has all the beta you could ever want regarding climbing in the Tetons. The guys that wrote it literally have about half the first accents in the Teton range. I'm headed out in July and have been studying that guide book for a couple mon...
