Well, I'm not sure what you mean by end joints, but I know heel spurs are caused by the tendon trying to pull away from the bone. The bone grows a little bit so the extra tension on the tendon is eased and the pain eventually goes away, but it hurts like crazy until then. I don't know if that helps,...
