Monkey-boy,
For the record, I'm in for money too since I live too far away to actually hang a route.
Is Miguel's the place to drop off a check?

This Thread

Hey,
Let's all meet at Miguels this Saturday night at 8:30 and irritate each other in person. That would be funny.

Rhunt,
Amen.

What do you think?

So, if you say there is no climbing there, then I won't go and will respect the area, until we can use it with permission.

I was reading the entire story. I was simply asking a question, jerk. You don't have to be an ass about it. So, why does the article say " ALL of the Pendergrass-Murray Preserve is now OPEN to climbing" It's nice to know that RRGCC doesn't OWN the land we would stand on, but it doesn't say...

I'm reading it now quoting article of 4/24/2004: _______________________________________________________ All of the Pendergrass-Murray Preserve is now open to climbing. A second temporary parking area on the Preserve has been opened, at Sore Heel Hollow, off of Bald Rock Road (.2 miles past the Moth...

SikMonkey,
Are Oil Crack and Arena part of the Pendergrass-Murray Preserve?
If so, then they are open to climbing, but there are parking restrictions.
If not, then I'll have to find out what is on the Pendergrass-Murray Preserve.

Bolts in the Red

Lurkist, I'll be in the Red this weekend (Friday AND Sat.). I was thinking of leaving money at Miguels, unless there is a better way, e-mail me and let me know. I'll be climbing in The Arena and Oil Crack. Ever try Blankety Blank? I want that climb so bad, but can't get past the third bolt.

Bolts in the Red

Lurkist and others on this thread. Starting a donation area of this website would be a great idea. I live about 7 hours from the Red and don't have the access/time that others have. However, I'd be happy to donate $300.00 to rebolting of routes. Honesty amoung climbers is like the honesty amoung sky...
